[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) Research Unit<\/span><\/p>\n

This unit was established since 2012 and the work was continuing till it was recognized\u00a0<\/span>as a complete unit in 2013. Since that time the unit continues its work in spite of teaching <\/span>undergraduate students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vision:<\/span><\/p>\n

This unit is the first unit in ministry of higher education and scientific research and\u00a0<\/span>directed its work and researches to help the community and solve health problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission:<\/span><\/p>\n

To develop and build scientific skills in the medical researchers to know the genetic\u00a0<\/span>causes of different diseases especially autoimmune diseases, unknown causes of\u00a0<\/span>diseases , cancerous diseases and diseases caused by different\u00a0 microbes by identifying\u00a0<\/span>HLA-alleles that predispose to or protect against the development of diseases in order to\u00a0<\/span>provide the future genetic treatment and predict the prognosis of diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Build a strong Database about HLA results of the patients<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. To achieve a strong scientific research<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Publishing our researches in international journals with impact factor and within\u00a0<\/span>Thomson classifications.<\/li>\n
  4. Achievement research that belongs to Master, Doctorate and Board Students.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Building scientific capacities by establishing workshops , training courses and\u00a0<\/span>conferences.<\/li>\n
  6. training undergraduate students about HLA typing\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Contribution with Ministry of Health as Consultants<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
