Vision<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Kindy College of Medicine aspires to be a leader in women’s empowerment in Iraq and a source of inspiration for women worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Women’s Empowerment Unit at Al-Kindy College of Medicine believes that women are a positive force for change in society and that empowering them is an investment in a better future for all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overview<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Kindy College of Medicine was established in 2022. It operates as an independent unit under the college’s administration. The unit consists of a group of female academics and staff members and seeks to achieve its goals through various programs and activities, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Seminars and awareness lectures on issues affecting women, such as violence against women, reproductive health, and political rights.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Training and support for female students and staff to develop their skills and capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Engagement with government and community entities to foster collaboration and coordination in the field of women’s empowerment.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During its brief period of operation, the Women’s Empowerment Unit at Al-Kindy College of Medicine has achieved several milestones, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Organizing an awareness seminar on violence against women, attended by over 100 female students and staff members.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Providing leadership and management skills training to the college’s female students.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Collaborating with the Iraqi Ministry of Health to organize a breast cancer awareness campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n
