{"id":3371,"date":"2023-09-26T10:33:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T07:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.kmc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3371"},"modified":"2024-11-20T17:43:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T14:43:22","slug":"alkindy-college-of-medicine-offers-webinars-to-empower-medical-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.kmc.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3371","title":{"rendered":"Alkindy College of Medicine Offers Webinars to Empower Medical Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Alkindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Alkindy Volunteer Team for Medical Education, Accreditation, and Curriculum, held a series of webinars to raise awareness of medical education among medical students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The webinars covered four key topics:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">What is medical education?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Accreditation and its forms and aspects<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Teaching and learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The role of medical students<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The webinars were designed to introduce students to the importance of medical education and its key aspects. They were delivered virtually via Zoom to a maximum of 300 students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The webinars were presented by Dr. Ameena Khachuri, a graduate of University of Baghdad College of Medicine , and were accompanied by Fatima Kadhim and Abdullah Raed, both from the fifth year of the Alkindy College of Medicine. The event was overseen by Dr. Taghreed Al-Haidery, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Dr. Muhannad Munther, head of the Medical Education Unit and the Ibn Sina Unit, also contributed to the online coverage.
