[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In a compelling scientific seminar organized by the Continuing Medical Education unit under the auspices of Alkindy College of Medicine’s Dean, Professor Dr. Mohammed Shihab Al-Eidani, Dr. Sama Atta, an esteemed internal medicine specialist at the college, captivated the audience with her enlightening presentation titled “Advancements in Insulin-Based Diabetes Treatment a Century After the Discovery of Insulin.”<\/span>
\nThe seminar, held in the presence of Scientific Assistant Prof. Dr. Taghreed Al-Haidari and Administrative Assistant Prof. Dr. Jameela Ghadban, among other distinguished faculty members, was presided over by Prof. Dr. Musa Qassim Hussein.<\/span>
\nDr. Atta embarked on a captivating journey through the incredible story of insulin’s discovery, tracing its evolution from animal extraction to the current era of genetically engineered insulin variants.
