This event emphasized the urgent need for collective awareness and action to combat this growing menace.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar, held under the patronage of the college\u2019s Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shihab Al-Aidani, featured the esteemed Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Hussein Al-Thani from the Ministry of Interior. Major General Al-Thani engaged the audience in a thought-provoking discussion about the critical role of security in society and the Ministry\u2019s ongoing efforts to fight drug trafficking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Major General Al-Thani shed light on the multifaceted dangers of drugs, emphasizing:<\/span><\/p>\n

Social Impact: Drugs are a primary driver of family disintegration and community breakdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unified Action: Addressing the drug crisis requires awareness and coordinated efforts from all societal levels.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar included compelling video presentations illustrating the devastating consequences of drug abuse and the distribution of brochures containing hotline numbers for the Anti-Drug Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to raising awareness, the seminar provided practical advice, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

How to recognize and report drug dealers and traffickers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The importance of avoiding suspicious environments or materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event concluded with an emotional presentation honoring the sacrifices of security personnel in their fight against drug networks, leaving a profound impact on attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n
