[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at Al-Kindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, organized an enlightening scientific symposium titled \u201cPublic Health, Methods for Building a Healthy Body and Mind, and Leadership in Dealing with Others.\u201d The event, led by Dr. Abbas Owaid, a faculty member at the college, targeted fifth-year medical students as part of the unit\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance health, psychological, and educational awareness among students, particularly in their advanced academic stages.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium focused on three key pillars:<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Health: Emphasizing the importance of maintaining physical well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n

Building a Healthy Body and Mind: Highlighting strategies for mental and physical resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Art of Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Equipping future doctors with the tools to lead and communicate effectively in healthcare settings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event witnessed remarkable engagement from attendees, with students actively participating by posing questions on how to apply scientific advice in their daily lives. Informative brochures summarizing the key topics were distributed to reinforce the symposium\u2019s takeaways.<\/span><\/p>\n
