The study aimed to verify some behavioral habits as risk factors for gastritis, in addition to verifying the relationship between infection with H. pylori bacteria and genetic polymorphism, as well as the gene expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α with the appearance of gastritis in a sample of Iraqi patients.
