The Women’s Affairs Unit at Alkindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, recently held a seminar titled “Supporting a Sustainable Environment and Reducing Environmental Pollution.” Led by Dr. Rayan Zidan, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, the seminar attracted students interested in environmental and sustainability issues.
The seminar covered key concepts of environmental sustainability, emphasizing the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations. Dr. Zidan highlighted modern technologies that promote sustainability, such as renewable energy and recycling techniques, which help reduce waste and protect the environment.
In addressing pollution reduction, the seminar explored innovative technological solutions designed to combat pollution sources and minimize their negative impact on the environment. The goal was to enhance environmental awareness, demonstrating how individuals can contribute to creating a sustainable environment.
