Tuesday 19th of April was a nice spring day when the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein visited our college to open the Ophthalmology and Lasik Center in the medical Advisory Office of the college as a part of the public services provided by the Office, Dr. Mohammed Al Qurtas Dean of the college and his associates, head of scientific departments as well as director of the advisory Office were among the staff that welcomed the guest.
Then Mr. president made a tour in the college where he visits the departments of the advisory unit, research unit, library of the college, lecture halls, and laboratories of the college where he met with some students and discuss with them the main problems and obstacles facing them and he stressed to solve them and before ending his visit the president met the teaching staff of the college and discussed with them teaching process and importance of improving the quality of medical students
