A group of teaching staff in the college headed by Mr. Dean Dr. Mohamed Al Qurtas invited to give a speech in the annual conference of American society of tropical medicine and hygiene (ASTMH) that held in Maryland Baltimore USA for the period from 5-9 Nov.2017.
The delegation that include in addition to Mr. dean, prof Dr. Mohamed Jalal (the assistant dean for scientific affair), Prof Dr. Ibtessam Khalid (head of curriculum committee), Assistant prof. Dr Taghreed al Haidary and Assistant prof Dr. Ikhlas Khalid (members in the curriculum committee) represented Iraq in this international conference and they gave a talk about the health challenges and medical education in Iraq.
Alkindy team also visited university of John Hopkins in Maryland Baltimore were they attend the morning hospital tour and the clinical discussion that follow and they met many students and professor of this inveterate university including prof. peter Agry who win Nobel Prize in 2003.
