The Citizens Affairs Unit focuses on two main priorities, with the first being addressing citizen complaints. It is dedicated to safeguarding the interests of Iraqi citizens and emphasizes using scientific and technological mechanisms to foster a work environment that builds trust and strengthens the relationship between citizens and government institutions. This is done within a framework of objectivity, transparency, and mutual respect, under the slogan”Justice for All.”
The unit strives to provide the best resources available to government institutions to achieve this goal through Citizens Affairs Departments in ministries, provinces, and non-ministerial government bodies. Additionally, it recognizes the importance of having diverse methods and channels for receiving citizen requests, complaints, and suggestions in order to find appropriate solutions.
