Within the activities of Continuing Education Prof. Dr. Zuhair al Bashir Chief of Surgery Department at our college gave lecture entitle new “educational tools in the teaching of Anatomy and Physiology”. The lecture was interesting and useful and with an enhanced high-resolution illustrations and the device will be great alternative to the medical college for use of the anthropomorphism in the teaching of anatomy, which contributes to the solution of a problem plaguing most of the medical schools in Iraq .
The second part of the lectures discussed multi-touches microscope, which can be used in the examination of tissues and samples of blood and bodily fluids and has the ability to enlarge the image up to 1000 times and display the result on the high resolution screen instead of using traditional microscope
The second lecture was present by assistant professor, Dr. Youssef Abdul-Rahim, Associate Dean for scientific affairs entitle “Diagnosis Based On The Evidence “ that discussed laboratory tests conducted by the physician to the patient and the benefits of such tests in the move to the more accurate diagnosis, but these tests may carry a lot of burden on the patient and the health authorities and the public health budget and that the balance should be between the doctor usefulness in conducting the examination and the cost of scheduled, Risk and archaeological side or on the patient’s health and budget and the availability of equipment .
In the end of seminar discussions about of the two devices which are displayed by Dr. Zuhair the Chairman Continuing Education Seminar was Dr. Ahmed Abed Marzuk.
