Under the slogan (Al Mustansiriya college of medicine Creativity and progress) with the auspices of the Minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Hussein Shahristani Almustansiriya college of medicine held its 10th scientific conference, at crystal hotel halls.
The Conference included eight scientific sessions, in addition to its opening, the Alkindy medical school professors had extensive participation and attendance, presided by Prof. Dr. Faris Abdul Karim who gave 4 lectures sessions mainly focused on the values of modern methods in the treatment of diabetes . Dr Taghrid Al-Haidari professor of gynecologypresented a valuble lecture on the participation between the College and the society . Assistant Prof. AbdulHadi Alrubaie gave a brief about the present and future of Islet cell transplant. this lecture followed by 2 lectures about obesity in children and surgical treatment of obesity presented by Dr Yussra Abdulrahman and Dr Ridha Albasri.
