Al Elwiya Maternity teaching hospital in collaboration with the department of gynecology and obstetrics in Al kindy college of medicine and the maternal cardiac unit in Baghdad teaching hospital held a symposium about cardiac disease in pregnancy on 5/12/2017.Target audience were Obstetricians and Anesthetist at Al Resafa Directorate.
The symposium discussed the contribution of cardiac disease on maternal morbidity and mortality in Iraq and the advantage of specialized services in the field of maternal medicine.
