A group of our students participated in a health awareness campaign for a number of secondary schools in Baghdad for two weeks in order to increase health awareness among the high school students by highlighting the endemic diseases prevalent through simple lectures by using data show and posters the program also include a simple workshop on how to use First aid kit.
The college donated a box of first aid to each school as well as a medical bag containing some important medicines and a poster of awareness and there was remarkable cooperation by the administrations of these schools. This campaign was part of the activities of the Alkindy medical college for community service. It was supervised by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Qurtas, and a number of the six professors in various scientific branches and research units in the college
