The Legal Division at Al-Kindy College of Medicine is one of the most important units within the college, responsible for providing legal advice, representing the college in court and before other judicial authorities, and protecting its rights and interests.

The Legal Division consists of two main units: the Legal Consultation Unit and the Rights and Litigation Unit.

Legal Consultation Unit

The Legal Consultation Unit is responsible for providing legal advice to the college in all legal fields, including:

– Drafting contracts and agreements.

– Resolving internal and external disputes.

– Responding to legal inquiries.

– Preparing legal studies.

The unit carries out the following tasks:

– Reviewing applications and complaints submitted to it, and preparing necessary legal reports.

– Providing legal advice to the college and its affiliated entities on all legal matters they face.

– Participating in the preparation of contracts and agreements, reviewing their terms before signing.

– Responding to legal inquiries received from the college and its affiliated entities.

– Preparing necessary legal studies to facilitate administrative decision-making.

Rights and Litigation Unit

The Rights and Litigation Unit is responsible for representing the college before the courts and other judicial authorities in all cases brought against it or initiated by it against others.

The unit carries out the following tasks:

– Monitoring cases filed against the college or those filed by the college against others and providing the necessary legal advice.

– Preparing for court sessions and representing the college in judicial matters.

– Negotiating with opponents to seek amicable settlements for cases.

– Following up on the implementation of court rulings issued in favor of or against the college.
