On the occasion of the National Cancer Control Day, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students at Alkindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Prof. Taghreed Khalil Al-Haidari, participated in the celebration held by the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry organized the celebration, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Health Affairs, Dr. Saleh Dammed, and a number of parliamentary and social figures.
The Scientific Assistant participated in the celebration by presenting a lecture on the rehabilitation of the national program for early detection of cervical cancer.
In this context, joint events between different ministries are considered an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, and to improve the quality of health services and medical education in the country. This cooperation enhances the integration between health and educational institutions, which benefits public health and develops the medical field in Iraq.
