Alkindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, welcomed Dr. Sarkhel Redha, Head of Clinical Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery at Croydon University Hospital, London. Dr. Redha, a distinguished consultant in trauma and orthopedic surgery, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma and Orthopedics and holds membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Specializing in complex trauma, primary and complex lower limb joint replacement surgeries, pelvic and hip reconstruction, and non-replacement lower limb procedures, Dr. Redha also works at the South West London Elective Orthopedic Center.
During his visit, Dr. Redha delivered a lecture on orthopedic emergencies to fifth- and sixth-year students, sparking engaging discussions and fruitful interactions. The session highlighted advanced trauma management and served as a valuable learning experience for aspiring medical professionals.
