The Continuing Education Unit at Alkindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, organized a seminar titled “Combating Harassment Through Awareness and Protection.” The event was held under the supervision of Dean Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shahab Al-Aidani and in collaboration with the Women’s Empowerment Unit.
The seminar was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jamila Ghadhban, faculty members, and staff.
Dr. Raghad Emad Al-Din presented the seminar titled “Who’s Responsible?” She comprehensively explored the concept of harassment, discussed its various forms and their impacts, and emphasized the community’s responsibility in confronting this phenomenon and protecting individuals.
Dr. Al-Din’s engaging and expert presentation sparked a lively discussion among attendees, who actively participated by posing questions and sharing their perspectives on the topic.
This seminar reflects Alkindy College of Medicine’s commitment to promoting gender equality within the college and fostering a safe environment free from harassment.
