Within the series of activities of the continuing education units and Ibn Sina for e-learning, Assistant Professor Imad Al-Shahwani from department of surgery presented a lecture about basic life support and how to do first aid to save life through cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Al-Shahwani talked about the most important points and measures that must to be followed in supporting injured persons directly before the arrival of the paramedics.  The lecture was attended by large number of teaching staff who emphasized  about the importance of  this topic and suggested to include it in the early clinical exposure of our students in the phase I and the possibility for the teaching staff to obtain a,TOT certificate from authorised centers in this field.
