Dr. Batoul Matar Mahdi head of HLA unit in the college chosen to be a member in the discussion committee of Ph.D. student (Shireen Hamed Farhan) from Institute of Genetic Engineering of her thesis entitled ‘Detection of genetic variation in the genes of some reproductive hormonal receptors and HLA-E for a sample of Iraqi women with unexplained  recurrent miscarriage’
The study aims to search for the effect of genetic variations of progesterone hormone, Androgen and HLA-E receptors in the occurrence of repeated abortions among sample of Iraqi patients and its impact on the concentration of progesterone hormones, androgen, straydol, and genetic expression For progesterone and androgen hormones receptors.
