In a global competition arranged by global women in cardiology (Global WIC) in which articles from female cardiologists across the world participated including Dr Zainab Atiyah Dakhil who is an interventional cardiologist and a senior lecturer at our college, Dr Zainab won the competition with her article entitled: (Faced Challenges and Learned Lessons in COVID-19 Era: A Female Cardiologist Perspective From an Emerging Country). Interestingly, she was competing in finals with other cardiologists from USA, UK, Canada and Argentina. The article will be soon published in European Heart Journal: Case Reports.
