A workshop was held for students of the Arab Scientific Council for General Surgery at Al-Kindi Center in the meeting room at Al-Kindi Medical College / University of Baghdad on Wednesday 16/2/2022 on Research Methodology With the participation of:
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asaad / Community Medicine Branch, Al-Kindi College of Medicine
Prof. Dr. Zuhair Bashir Kamal / Surgery Branch.
At nine in the morning, the workshop lasted three and a half hours. There was a break and hospitality for students for a period of a quarter of an hour.
The workshop included:
a. Introduction to the history of medical research.
b- Types of research, features of research and its sequence in terms of importance, expected results, and how to conduct it.
The statistical methods used to calculate the results, analyze them and assess their importance in the research.
All questions were answered on the various points that were explained in the workshop.
The number of attendees was 19 students from various centers in Baghdad and the governorates (Basra Center, Ramadi Teaching Hospital, Najaf Al-Ashraf Training Hospital).
