The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at Alkindy College of Medicine – University of Baghdad recently organized a comprehensive workshop, delivered by Dr. Abbas Owaid Aliwy, a faculty member at the college. This initiative, embedded within the unit’s annual strategic plan, targeted recent graduates from medical colleges in Baghdad, aiming to refine their professional and interpersonal skills.

The workshop focused on three core areas: reinforcing medical ethics, enhancing effective communication with patients and their families, and providing evidence-based training for managing emergency cases in clinical settings. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the program sought to bridge the gap between academic training and real-world medical practice.

This workshop reflects Alkindy College of Medicine’s dedication to advancing healthcare education. The college continues to prioritize the development of both clinical proficiency and humanitarian values among its graduates, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in diverse medical environments.
