Al-Kindy College of Medicine / University of Baghdad organized an entrepreneurship training course as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, aiming to empower innovative students and promote a supportive university environment that encourages creative thinking and practical project development.

The course was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Hazem Abdoun Deli, an entrepreneurship trainer, with the participation of a group of college students. Sessions covered essential foundations for building entrepreneurial ventures and practical steps for transforming ideas into real-world, implementable projects. The training also aimed to strengthen the culture of freelancing, innovation, and applied learning, linking academic learning with market needs through training, business incubators, and applied research—especially to prepare final-year students for a confident transition into the workforce. In addition, the course highlighted opportunities to expand cooperation with the public and private sectors, and to support innovators and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through guidance and mentorship to help their projects grow across key economic sectors.

This initiative reflects the College’s commitment to developing inspired graduates who can contribute effectively to sustainable development at both local and national levels.
