Al-Kindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, held a volunteer educational workshop titled “Breast Cancer,” under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shihab Al-Eidani, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Taghreed Al-Haidari. The program included awareness videos explaining the steps of at-home breast self-examination, and the student team distributed educational brochures to encourage women to adopt regular screening practices.

Prof. Dr. Taghreed Al-Haidari noted that such workshops reflect the College’s community service mission and strengthen the link between academic learning and practical engagement through student participation. The workshop continues the College’s efforts to support volunteer initiatives that raise public awareness and promote public health.
