As part of the ongoing scientific collaboration between the University of Baghdad / Al-Kindy College of Medicine and the University of Technology / College of Biomedical Engineering, Lecturer Dr. Ali Falah Al-Ibrahimi (Department of Internal Medicine) delivered an advanced workshop hosted at the College of Biomedical Engineering, University of Technology.
Titled “From Medical Imaging to Intervention: The Impact of Ultrasound on Musculoskeletal (MSK) Medical Applications,” the workshop explored modern ultrasound uses in diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on interventional techniques that enhance treatment precision and improve clinical outcomes.
Dr. Al-Ibrahimi also provided students with a clear overview of how technological advances are expanding the role of ultrasound across medical practice. Al-Kindy College of Medicine continues to support joint academic activities that strengthen students’ skills and practical experience, while widening institutional partnerships aligned with modern medical education in Iraq.
