Dr. Taghreed Al-Haidari, a passionate lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Al-Kindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, has earned the prestigious Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG).
Beyond her teaching role, Dr. Al-Haidari serves as Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students at Al-Kindy College of Medicine. She’s also an influential Consultant at Al-Elwiyah Maternity Teaching Hospital. Widely recognized for her commitment to maternal and child health in Iraq, her impactful work was honored with the 2018 FIGO Award.
The Honorary Fellowship recognizes Dr. Al-Haidari’s groundbreaking contributions to the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Notably, she’s the first Iraqi physician to receive this award in over three decades.
