The Quality Assurance Division at Al-Kindy College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, in coordination with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop and training course titled “Digital Transformation and Computer-Based Office Skills,” attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shihab Al-Eidani, and College staff.

Delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Salim Kati, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aseel Samir Mohammed, and programmer Noor Fares Abdul Kareem, the course aimed to equip employees with essential digital competencies to improve productivity, strengthen operational efficiency, and support modern workplace performance.

What the course covered

Participants received hands-on training in:

  • Core office applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Modern administrative skills and workflows

  • Human Resources Management System (HRMS) use

  • Digital communication tools and effective online collaboration

  • Advanced skills such as basic database handling and practical digital reporting
